- CO - cast on
- K - knit
- K2tog - knit 2 sts together as 1
- P - purl
- PU - pick up
- R - row
- rep. - repeat the directions between the *s
- sts - stitches

Directions
- CO 12 sts
- R1 - R4: K1, P1
- R5 (eyelet row) : K2tog, *YO K2tog, YO K2tog*, K2, rep.* to * (11 sts remaining)
- R6 - R7 : K
- Instep: K7, turn, K center 3 sts for 6 rows (3 ridges)
Note: You'll have knit the center 3 sts 7 times
- Gusset: PU 3 sts between the ridges, using the right needle, and K 4 sts off the left needle. (Now you will have 10 sts on right needle). Mark this as your right side.
- Next: K 10 sts, and PU 3 sts between the ridges on the other side of the instep, and K the last 4 sts off the left needle.
- Side & Sole: K 6 rows
- Cast off.
- Since this is a bulky yarn, it is best to use a flat seam to join. Cut Two pieces of yarn to thread through the eyelets.
