I just made a shawl with a bottom ruffle using summer tweed ---- I got compliments galore.  It has all the elements of a classic look -- texture, drape, color, etc.  And everyone wants to knit one!   Just wanted everyone to know the beauty of Summer Tweed.  Thanks,  Joan

I just began knitting with Summer Tweed and I love it.  It is silky and nubby and almost feels like it wants to exfoliate your hands but without being harsh.  It knits up fairly heavy, but still has a good drape and a really nice texture.
