Whew! All of that stash-busting and spring cleaning we did last week really worked out! We got rid of a good portion of our stashes by finding fun, new patterns to try out and get onto some needles and hooks! But now we can't help but feel like... we need more. That can't just be us, right?

We've stumbled upon the new Rowan Magazine - 69 and have absolutely fallen in love with the designs within the pages! Rowan does a fantastic job of getting us to flip through every single page with their brilliant designs paired with even more beautiful photography.
In this issue, we can almost smell the flowers adorning each page, quietly, wistfully sighing, hoping for spring to do its thing and make the flowers bloom and birds sing.

|
Rowan Magazine is a behemoth of a book, rounding out 40 new patterns to taste test with your needles! This year's theme seems to involve lots of sophisticated silhouettes, with throwback designs that make us reminisce about our childhoods.

New Hues!
It's safe to say that spring shades have sprung! One of our favorite things about yarn and all things fiber is the rainbow of color it's always available in, but when a company we love starts developing new colors, we're always awestruck, fawning over the scrumptious shades in our favorite base - it always feels like Christmas came early and we're being spoiled for being such good crafters!
Shibui Knits is no exception to this, expanding their sophisticated color palette to include springtime staples like pink and purple with splashes of yellow and blue - we're getting Easter vibes up in here! Combine them for a rainbow of pastels or use them alone to make gorgeous statement pieces! With the lovely patterns Shibui Knits has up for grabs, it's a no-brainer to add them into our project bags!
Did you know you can sort our yarn selections in order of newest arrivals? By clicking on the dropdown menu found above the palette of yarn you're looking at and selecting "Latest First" you will always be in the know of what we most recently picked up. This helps give you an edge on being one of the first to make with that new shade of green that you've been eyeing!

Mad for Tosh Sock!
Ah, do you smell that? The sweet smell of new projects wafting on the breeze! We've had a rainy few days here at JBW HQ, much to some of our dismay and others' excitement, but that can only mean one thing - FIBER FLOWERS. Working here at Jimmy Beans means we can literally wake up and smell the fiber - move over flowers, we've got yarn to steal our attention now!

|
What do we have our eyes on today? Why, it's Madelinetosh Tosh Sock! This 100% Superwash Merino wool is available in a plethora of luscious, glazed solid colorways as well as delightful arrays of multi-colored colorways.
Each hank provides a generous 395 yards to play with, making it super simple to complete a woman's size large pair of socks or gather enough for a small shawl or pullover. Each squishy skein is hand-dyed with love in Fort Worth, TX, making each hank unique and fun to blend!
Did you fall in love with a color that's currently listed at 0 available? You can go ahead and order what you need regardless, and our incredible fulfillment team will email you back, letting you know how long the wait will be - no minimums necessary!

KT? More like QT!
We always pay attention to the beautiful yarns and patterns (and why shouldn't we? They're always so breathtaking!), but what about the little notions that help guide our way through our next great adventure? Surely there must be some love in all of us reserved for the adorable accessories that we use, such as our tape measures, needles, or even stitch markers!
And speaking of stitch markers, we've recently picked up these A-DORE-ABLE accessories from KT + the Squid! These acrylic, handmade stitch markers are sure to delight just as much as having the last bite of ice cream left in the tub! Each closing stitch marker comes in a variety of hand drawn patterns (seriously, us makers are so dang talented!) and come in sets of one, three, or five depending on the pattern.
Choose from designs that ring true to us with knit goods, or spread your wings and take a gander at the Woodland Creatures! These tiny treasures are so cute that we may just want to squirrel them away for ourselves! The rustic, hand-drawn imagery on each marker guarantees that your stitch markers will be one-of-a-kind and suited best in your next favorite project!

We want to address the fact that the month of March is Women's History Month! Do you celebrate it at all? We want to know how you do so! We do so by challenging how we view women and how gender roles are placed upon us, and by calling out our inequality and bias. By doing this, we further the fight for creating an inclusive world.
Part of the greatness involving Women's History Month is that all gender identities are welcome to participate to learn and lead. After all, we are all here to achieve the same goal. We've written up a short and sweet blog post congratulating the achievements of some of the women in our little corner of the world for their bravery and fights to be recognized, and the rest is, well, history! We love and support these women and hope you'll take a quick read-through and maybe learn something new about them!
You can find our official blog post here.

Project On Our Needles!
Nicole's Camel Sweater
Every day, working here, we realize just how uniquely lucky we are to know so many talented people! From artists who use charcoal and pencil to draw still life to those of us who write and grade our own patterns, we have a pretty cool family here!
Our Bean, Nicole, happens to be a Jack of All Trades, being a clever and fun artist who just happens to be a really good crocheter as well! She recently finished this pullover which features the camel stitch using Madelinetosh yarn to make it come to life! Nicole used Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light in Night Bloom and Tosh Merino Light + Copper in Onyx for an added bit of sparkle to her stripes. Great job, Nicole! We can't wait to see more!
