I'll admit that winter knitting feels cozy, quaint even. But let's face it, we knitters can't shy away from the craft all summer long. In fact, summer knitting can be great--no pressure to finish winter or holiday projects, and the availablility of lots of lightweight and cool-wearing fibers introduces a plethora of possibilities. Even better, the collection of patterns, kits, and accessories here are festive as can be. Use your imagination, though! Make any pattern a little patriotic by knitting in red, white, and blue; or adorn with stars, stripes, or fireworks.
