When Monika saw this pattern in Cowl Girls by Cathy Carron, she knew she had the perfect yarn in her stash for it! This book contains tons of great cowl projects, but this one was Monika's favorite of the bunch. Knit in easy ribbing and seed stitch, this cowl is the perfect shoulder and neck warmer to wear on days when you need just a little something extra to keep warm. Monika used a discontinued GGH yarn called Aspen, but we've got plenty of great yarns that could be substituted like Rowan Big Wool or Plymouth DeAire. It just takes 270 yards of a bulky yarn and larger needles which makes it a super quick and stylish knit! We just love how Monika's green version turned out!
