This one-skein pattern, designed for Churchmouse's 2008 LYS Tour, became a fast favorite. Wear them when knitting outdoors on a chilly day. Or layer them over your fine leather gloves when the temperature drops. Live in a temperate zone? Choose a cooler yarn and these fingerless gloves are all about style! The finished product was wonderful! I plan on making more for gifts for next year. I think it would be great to use up some of the leftover skeins of fingering yarn or maybe even sport yarn.
Both my mom and I knit this pattern. I've done socks before, and found the pattern extremely easy and pleasing. She's never knit socks, or with such small needles, but still found the pattern easy to follow.
