You won't believe it contains no wool!
Gorgeous. Stunning. Soft. Not at all splitty. Not heavy, like most cottons - how does Misti do it?? A bit lighter weight than DK, I think - I'm getting 24st to 4 on US 4. I'm starting a short sleeved summer cardi with it perfect for the hot, humid, and over-airconditioned south.

A Good "Go-To" DK Yarn
This yarn is soft but not fragile, offers good stitch definition, and comes in a wide color range good for adults as well as babies. It is comfortable to work with. While some reviewers have panned it as "splitty," I have only encountered that where I have frogged yarn that has been cabled, instead of tinking it. If you like Debbie Bliss's patterns, the yarn has excellent pattern support ʊnd you can also use Sublime's dk patterns too ) ). Being dk, it can be worn through a variety of seasons, even in the southern US. This is a ⋞sert island" yarn.

Your "Desert Island" Knitting Book!
If you could only take ONE knitting book with you to a desert island ʊlthough I hope the island would have some cooler weather so you could wear the fruits of your labors), it should be this. (If you could take two books, then grab the Second Treasury). Ms Walker's instructions are clear, concise, and encouraging. Why do "plain st st" when you have all of these CHOICES?
