Really nice to work with
I used this yarn to make a pair of slippers for my father, and I really loved it. I liked that it felt both substantial and a little silky, and it had great stitch definition. One thing I did notice is that it can lose some twist depending on how you work with it, but it wasn't too much of a problem except when making adjustable rings. I would highly recommend this, and look forward to working with it again!

LOVE this!
I bought this yarn in Zephyr for a baby boy hoodie, and I have to say it is absolutely perfect. The colors are rich and gorgeous, and look even more fantastic knitted up. There is a fantastic depth of color to this yarn, and it is lovely and smooshy in texture!
This is double-stranded yarn each strand is separately dyed and is made up of a ribbon-like cord. It's not what I expected, but I love it nonetheless.
Also I will note I don't think this quite works up as bulky I'd say it's just barely heavier than worsted.

Great yarn
I ordered this to use for a bunny blanket buddy, and it worked perfectly for that project. It works up thick and soft but isn't at all fuzzy, which makes for a great baby project.
The construction of this yarn is really interesting it's a very long narrow strip of fleece that is occasionally joined by a small seam, which actually is much easier to hide than a knot join.
I would definitely use this again, it's really fun and interesting to work with.

Ok, but not fantastic.
This yarn was just OK. The color ʋlue) was nice, and it did have a lovely sheen, but to me the yarn just felt coarse. I imagine it will be quite itchy to wear. I gave this a three rather than a two, though, because it does look nice worked up.
Overall, I wouldn't buy it again, but it was worth a try.

LOVED it!
This is definitely my favorite cotton I've worked with so far. I ordered it in pea green, which is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm planning ordering a few more colors soon!
The yarn itself is nice and soft and sleek, and has a gorgeous sheen. I especially loved how it was spun using many thread-sized plies rather than a few medium strands. It gave this fantastic stitch definition. You need to be a little careful as SOMETIMES (not often, but occasionally) it loses a little twist in the working, and it's easy to split when that happens. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this yarn, and it will be my go-to baby cotton.

Decent
This is definitely a better cotton than you can find in most craft stores (those always feel very dry and raspy to me), but it is definitely not a pima. It is decently soft and works up fine. There's no particular sheen, but the color is good. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. It's decent for the price, but I far prefer Debbie Bliss' Baby Eco.

Great color, terrible pooling
I have been looking for yarns with interesting color combinations, and I thought I might have found it with this.
I bought a skein of ȯlower garden" and tried to use it for several projects (hat, scarf, booties). The yarn itself was wonderfully soft and springy and worked like a dream. Similarly, a lot of the individual colors were BEYOND gorgeousʊ pale aqua and saturated strawberry pink were the best). However, thanks to some of the other colors included in the skein (muddy green-brown, dull red and mustardy yellow), the effect of the nice colors was ruined.
It would also have been nice to have a predictable repeating color progression, but what I got was a LOT of each color once, then a sloppy join (two in one small skein!) to another segment starting with different colors. It just didn't look good.
That being said, I gave this two stars rather than one because the concept is good, the yarn is wonderful and some of the individual colors are outstanding. The finished product just needs a little tweaking. I'm sorry it didn't work out, I really love the skeined look of these yarns!

Fantastic!!!!
Cascade Heritage Silk was always one of my favorite yarns I love how it works up, it's a breeze to work with, it has a nice drape and texture, and the yardage per skein is fantastic. However, I was always a little disappointed that they didn't have more color options. When I found these Paints, however, I was absolutely thrilled. I ordered Water Lillies, and I am completely in love. This is easily the prettiest yarn I have ever worked with. The varied colors gives it an incredible amount of depth, and the color is beautifully saturated and has a wonderful sheen. I am definitely going to be ordering more or the available colors, and I would REALLY love to see more!

Good yarn
I really enjoyed working with this yarn. As some reviewers have said, it has its quirks, but I have learned to appreciate some of them. A few commented on the texture- while I admit it's different, I like that it is soft and don't mind the slight waxiness. In fact, if you use a loose enough gauge, it works exceedingly well. Another complaint is that the colors are not consistent within the skein. I have purchased several colors, and while in the paler yarns the variation is not as noticeable (in fact I think it adds a little depth), in the deeper colors (like raspberry) it definitely gives it a faded, worn look. Again, this is not necessarily a bad thing I've had people who absolutely LOVED the effect. Finally, the last point of contention is the weight of the yarn although this is not advertised as a thick-and-thin yarn, the width of the ply can alter drastically. In some areas it can be almost lace weight, and in some it nearly reaches worsted however these areas are brief and not terribly frequent (occurring only a few times per skein). This was the biggest negative for me, but overall it isn't a huge problem. If you're unsure of whether you'd like working with it, I'd suggest buying one skein in a medium color (so you get the variation, but not too much), and making a small project to start. You might hate it, or it might become your new favorite yarn. As I said it takes the right kind of person to love its quirks!
