High maintenance, but worth it
No doubt about it, this is yarn on the fussy side. It has zero elasticity, and runs thicker and fluffy versus very thin and somewhat fragile, so forget anything with fancy stitches or ribbing that needs to pull in. And, it sheds while you knit, so dress accordingly. The shedding isn't as bad as angora, and makes no difference in the visual look of the knit, but if you're wearing black chinos... I normally like my yarns with a lot of bounce, but this is so SOFT and just screams luxury so I didn't want to give up. After trying a couple of different ideas, I settled on a Honey Cowl for someone extra EXTRA special, and I'm very happy with how it's turning out. The knit is still in process, but I suspect a post-knit bath will resolve most of, if not all of, any residual shedding.

The best, still
Everyone has their favorite lace needles, but these are mine. And Addi makes them better by the year, tweaking here and there even though I was very happy right from the start. In my view, the best tips for digging into stitches, and the best finish for hanging on just right to most lace-knitting yarns.

One skein wonder
Love this yarn for shawlettes! The yardage gives a comfortable safety margin on most shawlette patterns, and can quickly get you to the yardage of a bigger project. It feels a little crunchy in the hand, but has a lovely grab when knitting lace no slippery stitches! and softens out beautifully in the blocking.
