Amy's Vintage Office-colorway. I made the Scallop-edge Beaded necklace using this colorway and nickel hemitite colored beads from the 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders book. It came out better than I expected. I'm not a big fan of the texture of wool, I prefer just about any other fiber except acrylic to wool. So, you can't go wrong with the texture and sheen of the silk in this yarn.

Love this yarn and beautiful colorways.
I'm not a big fan of the texture of wool, I prefer cotton and silk. I made Cross-stitch scarf with the Rainbow Trout colorway from the 101 Designer One-skein Wonders book. The scarf does really look like the skin of a Rainbow Trout. I made Square Hole Wristlets with the Eclipse colorway from the same book. Loved the wristlets but the colorway was prettier in the website picture than in person.

I bought both the knit and crochet sets of needles. I was looking for longer crochet needles for doing Tunisian crochet work. I'm a novice knitter/crocher that needs to use needles that aren't made of metal. I've always wanted to learn to use circular needles and thought these sets would be the perfect economical answer to both my needs. I am hughly dissappointed with both sets. The crochet set was suppose to come with instructions for Tunisian crochet, but came with the same generic leaflet that came in the knit set. Both sets advertise that this is the only set of needles you will ever need, because of the interchangable nature of the cords, needles, and connectors, but the sets only come with two connectors and end-disks. To get additional connectores and end-disks, they cost $1.50 a piece at Denise's Website. I'm not sure about anybody else, but I usually have two or three projects going at once. These sets of needles are ok, but need some more R and D work to be great.

I'm more into texture and color when it comes to yarn. I love the twist to this yarn, it does split when knitting and crocheting but that's more of an inconvience than and irritation. ColorwaysSeascape, Nightlights, Mood Indigo, Joyful. I would like to make an shirt with the Joyful colorway when I find a pattern that I like.

Feels like cotton to me with the warmth of wool. I'm not a big fan of wool, I prefer the texture of silk and cotton. I especially love the twist to this yarn. It does spilt, but maybe that's more to do with how I knit than the yarn. Colorway boughtMidnight Oasis.
