Beautiful Shawl Pin!
This is so much nicer in person ʎven though the photo is accurate and shows the details well). It's a nice weight and you can see and feel the quality. It's more a piece of accent jewelry for your shawl than an ssory". Can't wait to finish my shawl to use my pin with it!

Very Nice!!!
I purchased these buttons in 3 colors ʋurgundy, green and blue). The quality is wonderful. The colors are perfect for the projects I purchased them for. Nice to know I can purchase good quality buttons that very nicely compliment the yarns I am knitting with.

Another Wonderful Knitting Pure & Simple Pattern
I don't know how many Knitting Pure & Simple patterns I have but I LOVE THEM. They're always a very easy pattern to follow and you can knit plain or add your own special one of a kind touches. The had with ear flaps was very easy to knit and I finished it in less than a day - only thing I did different was to knit I-cord ties on it instead of a twisted yarn one. The hat I knit is perfect for little ones because it is lower in the back to cover a bit of the neck area, the flaps cover the ears so it's also perfect to wear under a hooded winter coat 𨮫ies do wiggle around :-). I would recommend any of these patterns to anyone - even an experienced knitter. Always a fun, quick and super easy knit!

Wonderful Pattern, Quick Knit, LOVE IT
I knitted this up for my grandson (who is growing faster than expected) This is super easy and was a quick knit for me. The pattern calls for a certain yardage but I found that with an 18 month old size I was able to use less than 2 skeins of Lorna's Laces worsted for the body and sleeves (I omitted the hood & knit in the optional neckband - instructions included in pattern) and another LL contrasting nearly solid for the ribbing, neckband, cuffs and front bands with plenty of that leftover for a matching hat in the solid color. I love how this pattern is simple enough so you can add your own special touches (patterned knitting, stripes, etc) if you want to. I plan to make several others of this sweater so my grandson will have a nice wardrobe of sweaters this fall and winter. This pattern gives directions for 6 months to 18 months sizes. I have other Knitting Pure & Simple patterns - and love them all - you really can't go wrong with any of them or the Lorna's Laces yarn either!!

Not happy with this yarn at all
I had an average of 3 - 4 spliced yarn knots per skein. On top of that I also had (in 2 skeins) very cleanly cut pieces of yarn that I had to tie back together (when winding the yarn - there was just unexpected clean cut end pieces). I wind my yarn by hand so it wasn't from quickly winding on a yarn swift that ȫroke" the yarn. These were not breaks - but clean cuts. This single ply yarn is very loose and fragile in many places. After I managed to complete my lace knit stole and gently washed before blocking - I saw that there were 6 places in the lace knit pattern where the yarn had broken again (not where the knots were). I also had to alter my pattern as I bought more yarn than I needed and yet fell way short of yarn needed to make my wrap the length specified in my pattern. My gauge was correct - I feel I was shorted on the yarn in the skeins some as I should have had at least 60 yds left over (the pattern called for 1200 yds and I purchased 3 skeins). This is the first time I have ever run out of yarn when knitting any project - I always have left over yarn. There were 17 pattern on each half but I was only able to complete 10 1/2 on the 2nd side. I hesitate to machine wash this as it is SO fragile (the lable says you can machine wash). I was torn between knitting my project in this yarn or my usual favorite Lorna's Laces - I chose this because it was a little less ʌost wise). The colors are very pretty and work well with the pattern I used - I just don't see how it will be worn much due to the fragile nature of this yarn. I was hoping to have something special ʊ stole) as a knit keepsake from my son's wedding. I'll be lucky to have it last through the ceremony.

The Best!
After my first Addi needles splurge - I can't knit without them now. I'm knitting a lace stole and these are WONDERFUL. The stitches really don't slip on the needles as they did on regular needles and the point is perfect for the lace stitches - especially when purling 2 tog. through the back couldn't even do that with bamboo needles The join as with the other Addis is very smooth I have had absolutely NO snagging My knitting just glides along. Would highly recommend these to anyone - even if you're not knitting a lace pattern - they make a huge difference.

Just What I Needed
This is just what I needed. I have needles from misc. manufacturers and unlike the Addi circular needles or some straight needle companies - they aren't marked for size. I know there are needle gauges that are less expensive and plastic and they work but this is functional, sturdy metal and it really looks so pretty! It's also a nice compact size so you don't have a utility looking rectangular plastic thing lying about. I like that you can use it as a pendant - it almost looks like a pretty slice of a seashell shape. The numbers aren't just printed on - they're engraved so they won't wear off. This was very well thought out to give knitters a quality made tool that is also very good looking.

Love them
After your first Addi circular needles - it's difficult to knit with anything else. Even on the standard Addis you still get more of a point than on bamboo needles - which helps a lot! I have gone through bamboo circulars where the cables snapped mid project - but never a problem with Addis. I also like that the size is marked into the cable. The join is smooth I have had problems with not so smooth joins on other brands and the yarn would get stuck Addis make the knitting pure joy in that the stitches just glide along. I also like the Addi Lace needles too. Addi needles are more than well worth the extra money to upgrade.

Rainbow Trout
I knit the free Crystal Palace pattern Rainbow Trout (with the yarn color of the same name) for my grandson. The colors are very nice. The yarn was easy to knit with. The pattern is super fast and easy to knit. I may get another color or two and knit him a small school of fish - and for a small one - the yarn is machine washable too! Am very happy with this super cute pattern. My first time knitting with the Mochi Plus and like it a lot (the only change I made while knitting this pattern is I used my sz. 6 Inox needles - went down a size - so the stuffing would be less likely to peek through.

Beautiful and Easy Knit Pattern
I knit the longer length version for my beautiful daughter who has a baby. While not a complete cover up for nursing in not so private places - it's perfect for her to wear over her nursing tank tops and other nursing mom summer outfits giving her the coverage she wants. She says it makes her feel pretty and feminine - especially when going out to visit, to church, etc - especially in the airconditioning. It came out so nice - I will at some time knit one for myself. With so many strapless summer outfits or those with spaghetti straps or even the dressy strapless dresses for weddings - I imagaine this would be perfect to wear over those. The neckline is stretchy enough so you could put it on and remove without messing your hair up. We're both very pleased with the finished capelet. I would recommend this pattern highly - the directions are easy to follow and are charted and written.
