This is amazing! The color is beautiful and the way it's dyed is pure artistry. It is extremely soft and has a great silk sheen. I love it!!

AMAZING!

This is possibly the finest yarn I have held. Until now, my favorite yarn was the Hand Maiden Sea Silk. This beats it by a hair, as it is perfect silk with no halo at all. OH SO SOFT and beautifully dyed. I wish there was more of it available!!!!

Ho Hum...

I expected more from this yarn. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it... but the color is a little drab and it's not quite what I expected for the price. I'm really glad that I got this one from the wool watcher, because I might have been unhappy if I had paid full price!

Beautiful colors!

I love Madelinetosh yarns because their colors are really magnificent. Though they are evenly dyed, they somehow manage to create really stunning color variations without making the yarn striped. This yarn is slightly thinner than fingering weight but not cobwebby like some of the laceweight yarns. I would definitely use it again!

Average wool lace yarn

I expected a lot more out of this because there's so much hype with the product and because of the price of it. It's a good yarn, but there's nothing special about it. There's nothing wrong with it but I found myself a little disappointed...

Yawn

This yarn is recycled blue jeans... which I love. But if you didn't know that, you'd think it was just another inflexible and boring cotton yarn. Now and then you get a little piece of something like fuzz from a fleece sweatshirt built into the strand. I have no idea what that's supposed to be, because it doesn't look or feel like cotton. I guess I'm going rough on this yarn because I don't like the properties of cotton... but I had a pattern that called for this yarn exactly so I figured I'd give it a try. If you like cotton, give it a shot. If you don't, steer clear, because this is just the average cotton yarn.
