Can't Say Enough
![5 out of 5 stars](./images/stars/5StarBlue14.gif)
I have been knitting socks for my grandson (who is growing fast lately). This yarn is wonderful to knit with. Don't have that much of an issue with splitting, With the bamboo this is VERY soft for cotton yarn. Almost a soft silky feel. The elastic makes the socks wearable for longer for my grandson ʊs he grows older) The socks really hold their shape wonderfully and wear very well. The colors are wonderful, pretty, cute and fun! My daughter gets a lot of wonderful compliments on her baby's socks. I'm definitely going to have to make a pair for myself as this seems perfect for year round wear. Ease of care, lots of color choices, and you can't beat the price especially for how very nice the socks turn out. I'm very pleased and my daughter always waits to see which color will be knit for the baby next.

Soft and Wonderful Worsted Weight!
![5 out of 5 stars](./images/stars/5StarBlue14.gif)
Lorna's Laces knits up beautifully, washes well, soft but durable for me, wears well. The colors are never a disappointment- The Monkeyshines colors are VERY pretty as are all the others I have knit with. The colors never have faded through many repeat washings in my washing machine. Everything from baby items, fingerless mitts, berets, etc. all come out so very nice. Continues to be one of my all time favorite yarns. I always get compliments on what I have knit with Lorna's Laces yarns!

Not Happy With These
![1 out of 5 stars](./images/stars/1StarBlue14.gif)
I bought 2 pair of Lantern Moon circular needles to replace some old bamboo ones I had. I thought I'd be upgrading but as I am knitting a hat on my size 6 16" circulars I am not happy at all with the joins. These are not smooth joins at all and my yarn gets hung up constantly to the point where I was afraid my yarn would snag or split. My knitting is going very slowly as I constantly have to stop to lift my stitches over the join. Fortunately I have some Addis which I just switched over to and the knitting is flying along on the Addis now. At this point I am glad I had the Addis to.

Beautiful, beautiful yarn!
![5 out of 5 stars](./images/stars/5StarBlue14.gif)
I was able to find this in my LYS 2 years ago ʊnd they only carried 3 of these colors back then) This is SO nice to knit with and the finished look is wonderful. The yarn more than speaks for itself and has a very rich subtle nubby tweed look to it. I cannot believe all these nice colors JBW offers it in! Anything you knit in this will look like you paid way more than this price. For very impressive knit gifts or to treat yourself - I highly recommend this yarn!

Shepherd Sport - Wears Well AND Beautiful Colors!
![5 out of 5 stars](./images/stars/5StarBlue14.gif)
I don't baby my socks - although I read that you should. I have knit several pairs of socks from the Lorna's Laces Sport Weight. Knits up beautifully. The nearly solid colors show off patterns, and cables very well. I wear my socks to work (nice casual dress in our office) and at home. And when at home walk around in socks without shoes. I have had NO problems AT ALL with wear, pilling, fading, or colors bleeding. I wash them in the washer in a laundry bag and dry flat. They still all look like new and are very soft, cushiony and comfortable to wear. I knit on a size 1 1/2 dpn and haven't had problems with pooling either. The yardage is also very good and I always have leftover yarn even with a 7 inch cuff.

Easy Pattern and Versatile
![5 out of 5 stars](./images/stars/5StarBlue14.gif)
This pattern works out great for any type of yarn. My son is in management and needed a nicer than "just casual" warm winter cap and also one where he can wear it out to a nice dinner (when you REALLY need warmth when out) I chose a really nice almost solid yarn in browns. You can really dress this up or down with whichever yarn you use. Knits up in no time and really looks nice!

Soft & Pretty
![5 out of 5 stars](./images/stars/5StarBlue14.gif)
I just finished knitting a cap in the Black Watch color. My computer screen shows what looks like a white stripe running through the yarn BUT when you get it home in person - it is just a lighter shade of the color it is twisted around and very, very pretty. The yarn is super soft and easy to knit with. The cable pattern shows up well even with the different colors throughout, and holds its shape well - not stretchy like alpaca or alpaca blends. Sorry I hadn't tried this before.

Well Made, Well Designed, Love It
![5 out of 5 stars](./images/stars/5StarBlue14.gif)
This is stunning to look at, constructed to keep ME organized (was forever misplacing my needlesʚnd well made. The fabric exterior is thick, high end home dec quality type fabric. The snap is easy to open and stays closed securely - you don't have to ȯight a snap" or risk a tear in the fabric from a snap that you have to pull on. The zippered pocket is roomy enough for me to have put in my cable needles, darning needles, stitch markers in with lots of room to spare. The pocket is also large enough for me to get my whole hand inside and to see inside for what I need or am looking for - very roomy for notions storage. The lining fabric is also very nice quality and pretty. There are in the back cover - sections for some DPNs, or crochet hooks or I am also keeping a pencil in mine to make my pattern notes. The clutch really does expand so as to accomodate all of your needles without it looking like it's going to Ȯxplode" from being full ʊnd I do have some larger circular needle sizes in there for my bulky yarn knitting). The only thing I would have liked is to have the pockets marked for needle size BUT there are so many pockets and I DO have circular needles in different cable lengths that what I plan to do is print out the needle size and cable length on pretty business cards (to print from my computer printer) and just tuck the cards in the appropriate pocket for easy reference - which probably works out better keeping all my same needle sizes together. I do have a knitting bag but I am keeping this out because it is so pretty and really doesn't look like you have left a knitting needle organizer lying about. (I also purchased the Della Q DPN organizer to coordinate with this pattern/ color.) The plastic pockets are a decent thick gauge material. So glad I finally treated myself to something so pretty AND so organized and functional.
