| An A-peal-ing Collab, Beans For Brains, & Crochet!
Your destiny is in the hands of... FADE?!
|
We're pretty sure fades and gradients will never go out of style - they're not only pleasant to look at, but even more beautiful to knit and crochet up! One of our favorite things about coordinating a fade in our projects is that the beauty of it is effortless and you can really let the yarn speak for itself! We're also huge fans of how satisfying it can be to get a handful of different yarns and order them in a way where it looks intentional and elegant.
We recently got in some OOAK (one of a kind) skeins of Madelinetosh yarns, and the dream team of color curators, Amy and Wren, saw this as the perfect opportunity to get their creativity flowing! Spending an afternoon together (and taking a break for making a yarn angel or two), they hand-picked three shades per bag to make unique, one-of-a-kind fades and coordinating color palettes! Each bag is a little mystery while still remaining in the same color family.

Please note: No needles, crochet hooks, or patterns are included in this kit.

Perfect for making something in time for the beginning of spring, this shade features speckles and splatters of neon pink, green, purple, and blue on a natural base! Each skein of Madelinetosh yarn is dyed by hand, making each hank unique and easy to blend together!
While Madelinetosh yarn does not have dye lots, our warehouse wizards will visually match your skeins to make sure you have the most consistent hue possible! By picking up a skein or two of the Beans for Brains colorway, you will also receive a free Ravelry download code of the beret pattern!

ATTN: Merino In Reno!
Craftvent may be over, but the spirit of making never dies! While we were all knitting up our Spirits of the Season Shawl and crocheting our Hit the Slopes Wrap, we couldn't help but think, "I wish I had a full skein of this color, it's beautiful!". We just couldn't help ourselves, so that wish is now officially a reality, hehe!
From The Periwinkle Sheep, are gorgeous pink and purple shades in their Merino Singles base that would easily make their home in any crafter's project bag! This fingering-weight yarn packs a punch with 400 yards of 100% superwash merino wool that's oh, so fun to squish! Perfect for adding some depth to your next colorwork project, or on its own to really let the color shine!
|
We spy some speckles from Spun Right Round in our future! Speckles to us are like sprinkles on cupcakes - they're a beautiful finishing touch and add a bit of extra yumminess to our next project! The unique placement of color in the skein also makes for something a little fun and spontaneous - after all, why only pick one color when there are just so many options!?
Spun Right Round Merino Singles yarn is a fingering-weight 100% superwash merino wool with 400 yards of fiber to play around with, making this a great choice to use alongside The Periwinkle Sheep for a stunning shawl or comfortable cardigan!

Somewheeeere Over The Rain-Throw
There's always a question that floats around in our heads when we decide to venture into a new project: What color (or colors) will it be? Should it be a solid color? A variegated shade? Perhaps even a speckled hue! The possibilities are endless and it truthfully starts to make our heads spin! There must be a solution out there...
Why not ALL of them??

Adrienne's Accessories
With how often we indulge in using our hands for our craft, it's very important to be comfortable while we do it, right? We treat our projects with love by splurging on beautiful colors and scrumptious yarns, but we often forget to treat our hands with the same kind of respect.
We've heard those requests for new, super-comfortable handles for our crochet hook selection and are more than excited to be able to announce that we've picked up some Clover Amour Crochet Hooks just in time for National Crochet Month! You could say we've... fallen in love, hehe!
|
|
Each size of crochet hook is color-coded, resulting in easy identification for the size you need while also making a gorgeous rainbow when you have a complete set, which makes us happy just by looking at them (seriously, it's like, impossible to be sad when you have a rainbow in your bag)!
The easy-grip handles are squishy and perfect for finger placement and lengthening the time you spend crocheting for the day. The tips are smooth and lightweight, which makes the yarn glide where you need it to effortlessly!

We're back from STITCHES and we gotta say... It. Was. Incredible! We saw so many of you guys there, and being able to talk about your current projects complete with the little goodies you picked up from around the show made our hearts sing!

Madelinetosh released a custom colorway for the amazing Gaye Glasspie (A.K.A. GGMadeIt) inspired by her love for the color orange, which is aptly named "GG Loves Orange"! The look of delight on her as she modeled the shade in a poncho on the runway was indescribable!
While we're sad the weekend has passed, we are more than excited to be able to share this super a-peel-ing shade and pattern with you all! GG Loves Orange is available in Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage, a worsted-weight 100% superwash merino wool that knits up like a dream!
|
|
The pattern for the Orange Love Poncho is now available as a kit on our website! The modeled shots used all four skeins suggested to make it. If you're concerned about running out of yarn, you may want to grab an extra skein - just in case!

Alex's Marlette Lake Mittens
Beautiful, quick to make, and oh, so cozy! Alex crafted these magnificent mittens using Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage yarn in the custom colorway, Winterberry. These mittens were created to fit your hand nicely without being restricting, and boy, did they deliver! You all already know how much we love cables, so picking this pattern was a no-brainer for us, as it features cables (and faux cables) galore as well as a slip stitch palm that curves forward for ultimate comfort!
