Fort Worth, TX -- January 9, 2020 - Madelinetosh, a producer of hand-dyed luxury yarn, announced they will be donating funds to Wildlife Rescue South Coast (www.wildlife-rescue.org.au), an experienced wildlife rescue group in South East NSW, which has been operating since the late 1980s. Wildlife Rescue South Coast's primary aim is to rescue and rehabilitate injured and orphaned native wildlife to eventually release them back to the wild.
To kick off the relief efforts, Madelinetosh will donate 25% of sales from their "To Australia, With Love" yarn, in bold blue, green and brown colors of planet Earth. This limited color is available in Tosh Merino Light, a superwash merino fingering weight, and Pashmina, a sport weight in superwash merino, silk, and cashmere and is a perfect match with Melanie Berg's "Caress My Soul" shawl pattern with 50% of her sales going to her charities of choice, New South Wales Rural Fire Service and the Victorian Country Fire Authorities.
"
"The news and imagery of the devastation in Australia is shocking and heartbreaking. It is about doing something, anything we can...now. Our friend, Melanie Berg didn't hesitate for one second to donate proceeds from one of her patterns to help. I am so grateful for our giving maker community. There are so many organizations out there that need help, I wish we could support them all." says Laura Zander, CEO of Madelinetosh.
Madelinetosh "To Australia, With Love" yarn is available now at www.madelinetosh.com

About Madelinetosh Founded in 2006, Madelinetosh, affectionately known as Mad | Tosh, found its humble beginnings in the form of an Etsy shop based in Fort Worth, Texas. Fast forward to today, the brand has grown into a team of more than 40 creatives, dyers, and yarn experts with a passion for color, selling direct to customers and to local yarn shops around the world. In the Fall of 2019, the Mad | Tosh team was welcomed into the Jimmy Beans family, led by the visionary Laura Zander and her animal-loving husband, Doug. Since then, Laura and her team have been charged with preserving the Mad | Tosh legacy so many (including herself) fell in love with from the very beginning - a legacy of decadent yarns, innovative dyeing methods, and original uses of color.
