Reno, Nevada -- November 2, 2021 It's official-Jimmy Beans Wool is relocating to a larger, more convenient new headquarters in South Reno, Nevada.
Located just a short distance from its previous facility in the Biggest Little City in the World, the new building will allow the company, famous for its top-quality wool yarn, knitting supplies, and other accessories, to expand its warehousing and retail operations.
"We're just over-the-moon excited that we were fortunate enough to purchase a new building to house our products and staff," said Laura Zander, CEO of Jimmy Beans Wool. "This really is the culmination of a lot of hard work and planning by all of our team members. The new space will give us the opportunity to spread our wings a bit, create a new and unique retail space, and grow our team."
Zander added that the new headquarters building, located near the new Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles facility-so you can pick up a new hobby before waiting in line-encompasses nearly 21,000 square feet and boasts a showroom, office space, and a large warehouse. This new location has tons of cool little rooms?it's very Jimmy Beans Wool!
The new location is: 891 Trademark Dr. Reno, NV 89521. The team will be moving locations starting on November 3rd, 2021. The retail shop will reopen in early December.

About Jimmy Beans Wool: At the downturn of the dotcom boom, former Silicon Valley engineers Laura and Doug Zander moved to the mountains and opened up a tiny yarn shop in Truckee, California. Jimmy, as Laura is lovingly known, sold coffee alongside the wool (hence the Beans in the name) and Jimmy Beans Wool was born. In 2004, the company settled down in Reno, Nevada where they currently reside today. They occupy an expansive 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse, are considered one of the country's leading destination yarn shops, employ 35 team members, and have built a loyal following and impressive online presence. Along with yarn, Jimmy Beans also provides consumers the most innovative crafting products and accessories, recently acquiring Madelinetosh and della Q, two beloved companies amongst knitters, crocheters, and makers. Jimmy Beans will continue to develop products under their patent pending Jimmy's SmartStix, plus hooks, needles, and notions.
