disappointed in product, but customer service was great!

Latch on mine was flimsy to the point of nearly falling off and so I emailed store about this. They replied back immediately and offered to refund the price and offered postage to return items. I'm quite pleased.
I love this little case, however, the latch is about to fall off and I just got it yesterday. It arrived this way. I can't find an email to contact store. So here I am. I'm really worried the latch is gonna break. It is very very loose. I've been eyeing this for months and finally purchased it for myself and one for my friend. I wrapped hers up already. I didn't check hers very closely as I should of. : Now I have to worry about that.
If the straps were leather, I would give 5 stars. Plastic simply doesn’t hold up. I live in a desert climate, and even if I don’t use my bags made of such materials Namaste for example, they crack. Maybe customers living in a more humid environment have a different experience.
I purchased this a little over a year ago and just opened it this month ant the inside part were the magnetic part is is falling apart frome the top already. Disappointed for the price I paid.
For its size, this case has an amazing amount of space! It's perfect for on-the-go projects. No more yarn balls flying out onto the floor! The top tray has plenty of space for those must have knitting accessories, and the magnets inside the top are genius for capturing small, easy to lose items. Am I glad I splurged on myself and bought this? You betcha!
Nearly perfect for small projects on road trips

now that I've had this for a while, I feel I can give it an honest review. first, I love the look of it. it's very smart looking.
I put this down at my feet in the front passenger seat on road trips. I have all my notions fixed to the inside of the lid with rare earth magnets and use the tray for the stuff that won't stick. I like that everything stays put and doesn't jumble up because of the moving car.
The lid doesn't stay open, so I've used a long, large-gauge crochet hook as a hood prop. So using the inside lid for patterns isn't terribly practical. I tend to use my tablet for charted patterns, so I'm not upset over that.
as others have mentioned, the little cutouts for yarn are blocked by the inner tray. I've managed to scoot the tray over to one end and get sock yarn to feed from the other, but anything thicker isn't going to come through easily.
I currently have a light shawl project in mine and it fits nicely. I'm not sure how others get a sweater in there, unless they are knitting a child's sweater. The case is perfect for smaller projects like socks IMO.
