Soft, squishy, beautiful
I used this yarn to make a wrap for a prayer shawl ministry, with a modification of the baby blanket pattern designed for this yarn. The patterned sections generally did come together looking like flowers, although one section looked like the lawn mower had just gone through. Not bad for just random chance, right? I really loved working with this and will plan on buying it again in even more colorways.

Good yarn, a little quirky on the color
The yarn is amazing. It feels to me like it's a bit between a sport weight and a DK. I've never found a knot in a skein of Arroyo. I recommend using it.
This yarn suffers from the same issue all Malabrigo does, which is the color isn't consistent on the variegated colorways. Two skeins from the same dye lot may not look like each other. This is fineembrace the chaos! But it's led to fun like having someone order me yarn as a gift and then hand me the receipt to return it because it didn't look like the colors on-screen. I totally used that yarnremember, embrace the chaos. If you're using multiple skeins of the same colorway, just be prepared to blend them a bit when changing from one to the next. It's a splendid yarn that will be worth it.

This is a sweet yarn
I bought this for a pair of fingerless gloves to coordinate with a shawl in the same colorway from six years ago. Six years later, the colorway has gotten a bit more purple, but it's still amazing. The yarn worked up well with no knots and was not at all splitty. The color stayed in the yarn rather than coming out in the wash. Recommended!
