Too big for small needles
Lately I have been knitting primarily with Knitters Pride Dreamz needles US sizes 0 and 1, so I was very excited to try the Circular Needle Protectors since I have broken my size 0 needle before when packing it in my knitting bag. Unfortunately the open slot in the Circular Needle Protector that the needle slides through is about the same size as the size 0 needle so the slot is unable to keep the needle in the protector. The size 1 needle also did not seem completely secure in the protector. I tried using the Circular Needle Protector for a US size 4 needle and that worked well.

Perfect needles for lace weight yarn!
I fell in love with these needles immediately! I knit mostly with lace weight yarns and these needles size 0 are amazing. The points are perfect for picking up stitches and doing any type of stitch decreases, and the carbon fiber portion of the needle allows the stitches to move easily without being too slippery. Plus the lightness of the needles allows for a better feel of the light weight yarn. These needle are definitely my new favorites.

beautiful yarn!
I've used this yarn for many projects and the results are always beautiful. The alpaca is very soft with a little halo and the silk is just enough to give it some sheen, softness, and better stitch definition. This tends to be the yarn that I use the most for my lace weight projects.

color rubs off
I bought a hank of the yarn in the Cerulean color and started on the cuff of a sock while I watched TV. After I finished the cuff I put the knitting aside and noticed that my fingers are blue. I'm very concerned about what will happen when this yarn is washed but I am also not looking forward to the idea of having to scrub my hands every time I do any knitting. The yarn is nice and soft and knits up beautifully, though.
