Not worsted weight!
This is listed as a worsted weight, but it is at best a DK weight. Colors are great, but it's very thin. Wanted to use this on an Addi knitting machine and it's not compatible, and I'm not enjoying it for hand knitting or crochet

Love these needles!
I am a fanatic fan of Knitter's Pride needles and have 4 ! sets of KP interchangeables. I needed a size smaller than what's in the IC sets, so bought this... and love it! Super smooth, great join, and handy measuring tool.

Absolutely the BEST wool/acrylic blend!
For almost 15 years, this has been my go-to yarn when I need to make something that's easy to care for, especially when it's going to someone who may not have the knowledge or time to give it special care. This yarn machine washes and dries both at low temps beautifully and continues looking and feeling great.

Fabulous needles
When I knit scarves, I prefer straight needles, so I got a collection of these in my usual scarf sizes. Wool and wool blend yarns move effortlessly over these needles so I can really speed up my knitting.
My only complaint about these needles is that the sizes are imprinted in the middle of the needle shaft, instead of the end of the shaft. I keep my straight needles in a tall vase and it's easier to find a desired size when it is imprinted near the end of the needle.
Even better is if the size is imprinted in some way directly on the large stopper at the very end of the needle. I also would have liked that to be the case with these needles.
Aside from the size info, everything about these needles is wonderful and I highly recommend them.

Slightly disappointed
First, let me say that I love Plymouth Encore worsted! It is my first choice for a washable acrylic/wool blend yarn, especially for items like blankets.
I bought three colorways of Hot Cakes yarn to use along with my solid-colored Encore yarns in a blanket. The colors in each cake are nice, but the yarn is heathered, and I didn't expect that. I'm not even sure why they did that. I'm going to try one block in Hot Cakes and see how it goes with my solid-colors, but I have a bad feeling that it's going to detract from my blanket. By themselves, I think the colors will work well...
Also, I need to say that I'm not as happy with the overall look and feel of this yarn compared to Encore Worsted in solid colors. I don't think I would have been attracted to it if I saw it on the shelf.
