Greatest sock yarn ever!!
I've been knitting socks for thirty years, never quite finding the perfect yarn for winter wear in a warm climate. Malabrigo Sock, however, is perfect. It's fine, but still has heft, it's twist is just right for a long-wearing sock but not so highly twisted that the stitches never meld into a smooth fabric. Colors are gorgeousdeep, saturated, subtle. A joy to work with.

Yorkshire Tweed Arrived Very Quickly
My order arrived in the mail three days after I placed my order, even though I was using a free mailing offer! Everything arrived safely, carefully packaged. My order included a book, which was also in excellent condition.
Yorkshire Tweed should work very well in the deep south climate. I'm planning an aran sweater, but I want the sweater to be fairly lightweight, even with cables. This light-weight wool, which has a nice tooth not too smooth and lovely marls of sky blue in a spruce green, should be perfect. Note that the skeins are only 25 grams, but have more than 100 yards of yarn. This is shetland weight, but has a softer hand than true shetland wool.
