Review List
Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase.
Expectation Settings:
* If you are a pin aficionado, there's not much room to put pins.
* As of July 27, 2021, the Product Description isn't up to date for the mini messenger bag there are no true water bottle pockets.
* When you first get the bag, you will need to train it to expand the bottom portion to it's full capacity.
* The interior is a chocolate brown colour, so as another review mentioned, it's not accessibility-friendly, especially if you are working with dark yarn.
Pros:
* There are two 'main' pockets. I can actually fit more yarn in it than I expected.
* Really great for small knitting projects like socks or hats just like Jimmy mentioned in her review
* Large zipper tabs make it easy to open the bag
* I love that you can use the main compartment as a yarn bowl, and it does work out for my needs that way.
* The front pocket can definitely hold my Motorola Edge phone, as well as my iPhone 8 and both phones at the same time
* The handle is sturdy, easy to grab, and I love the feel of it in my hand!
Cons:
* Large zipper tabs may catch on projects finished or unfinished
* One way zippers as other reviews have mentioned, being able to choose to keep part of the pocket opened would be a nice option especially given that you can move the strap to the right or the left, but since the zippers are only 'one' way, it doesn't feel to me like something that can be used on either side of my body
* Yarn Cutter: I really wish, with the Della Q bags, the yarn cutter was in a different pocket than the main pocket or just had a pull down magnetic flap over it or something. I worry about potentially cutting the yarn from my project, cake, or skein accidentally this might be a user error concern as I tend to over pack my bags in general.
* I *love* the idea of the yarn feeder, though I have never been able to get a yarn feeder to work for me including the one in this bag.
