I'm still in love!
I love everything about this yarn! The color is exquisite. The way it works up is perfect. There is literally nothing bad I can say about this yarn!

Not my favorite yarn...
I found this yarn very rough and even after re-skeining and washing it was still rough and so crisp that I couldn't get my stitches to look right. This may have been remedied by blocking but I don't have the time or energy to waste knitting, washing and then blocking only to find out in the end that it just looks messy. I will not be buying this yarn again.

DK?
I'm not sure how this and Malabrigo Silky Merino can both be DK. They are so different that I can only make sense of it if they are made by two different companies. Arroyo is much closer to Fingering weight while Silky Merino is definitely a worsted weight yarn. I've been told that I'm the only one to bring this up !?!? but if you're planning a project that calls for a DK weight yarn be aware of the discrepancy here. That being said they are still both in my top 10 list.

Very nice
I was disappointed at first, as the color I saw online was purples, blues and greens and what I received was purples, blues and pinks ew. I persevered nonetheless and was surprised that a yarn renowned for its softness did not seem very soft at all. I couldn't imagine who would want to wear the stiff little shawl I finished a week later, so I waited a few days to block it. When I finally blocked it I was AMAZED to find it is baby-soft and has glorious drape! I will buy this yarn again and again!
