Advanced BeginnerGudrun designed the Fidra hat in 2015 when living in Edinburgh Scotland. She almost didn’t publish it as initially she wasn’t happy with the crown shaping! However after some tweaks she let it out into the world and she is very glad that she did! This has been one of her most popular patterns and still gets knit up by many hands every hat season.
She decided it was time for another one in her accessory drawer and worked up this version in Jamieson’s of Shetland Heather Aran held with Yarn Citizen Trinity Cashmere. The result is a beautifully textured and soft fabric to keep the frigid temps of her New England locale at bay!
