Ordering
How do I sign up for a Jimmy's Club subscription?
A listing of our Clubs can be found here. From the individual club page you wish to subscribe to, simply choose from the dropdown and add the subscription option to your cart and continue through check-out normally. Options labeled Auto-Renew Subscription will renew automatically each month. Options not labeled in this way are one-time purchases and will not auto-renew when the time window completes. Jimmy's Blanket Clubs are 12-month progressive projects. Please sign up before each of the following dates to make sure that you get this month's shipment!
Jimmy's Blanket Club: 5th-10th of each month
Malabrigo Club: 20th – 25th of March, June, September, and December For example, if you sign up for Jimmy's Blanket Club on April 2nd, you'll receive your first shipment in April. If you sign up on April 11th through May 3rd, your first shipment will be in May.
How do I send a Club subscription as a gift?
Gifting a subscription is easy! Just place an order like you normally would, making sure to put the recipient's address in the shipping field. We will email the email address used to place the order to let you know when the gift subscription will start. If you want to include any special instructions for us, you can do so in the order notes field upon checkout.
Can I check out two different subscriptions in the same order?
At this time, our system can only accommodate one shipping address per order, but you can place multiple subscription orders going to the same address.
If you would like multiple subscriptions, say, one for you and one shipping directly to a friend, please place separate orders for each.
Does my club subscription ever expire?
Your monthly subscription will continue to renew each month for the duration of the subscription year unless you decide to cancel. Each month, your subscription renews automatically, and your payment method will be charged for the next shipment.
You can cancel anytime, just email us at support@JimmyBeansWool.com, give us a call at (775) 827-9276, or visit the Manage Subscriptions section of your account.
At the end of the subscription year, your membership won’t renew automatically, so be sure to sign up again if you’d like to keep the club fun going!
What payment methods can I use for my subscription?
For our subscription programs, we accept credit cards or PayPal as the method of payment.
Shipping
Can you ship these clubs internationally?
Yes, we do! Please give us a call toll free at (877)529-5648 or shoot us an email at support@JimmyBeansWool.com for a shipping quote.
When will my subscription ship?
Your subscription will ship between the following dates each month:
Jimmy's Blanket Club: 5th-10th of each month
Malabrigo Club: 20th-25th quarterly in March, June, September, and December
If I place an order for both a subscription and other items, will they ship together?
We will automatically ship out any available items in your order other than the subscription. The subscription will ship separately when our next shipments are scheduled to go out.
What method will be used to ship my subscription each month?
Your subscriptions will be shipped via USPS First Class Shipping for domestic customers.
Are there any shipping charges with my subscription?
Shipping charges for our customers are built into most subscriptions. However, if you are an international customer, you will have your choice between First Class or Priority shipping options. We'd love to work something out!
How do I make changes to the shipping and/or billing address on my existing subscription?
You can update billing and/or shipping address in the Manage Subscriptions area of your account. Or give us a call toll free at 877-529-5648, and we'll be sure to update your information over the phone.
Can I have my subscription order held for combined shipping or for retail pick up?
Unfortunately, due to the automated nature of our shipping system, we are unable to hold subscription orders for combined shipping or retail pick up.
Managing Your Subscription
Can I pause/skip a month without canceling my subscription?
Yes! You can pause and resume your subscriptions at any time in the Manage Subscriptions area of your account. Or give our customer service department a call toll free at (877) 529-5648.
How do I update my payment information on my existing subscription?
Please give us a call toll free at 877-529-5648, and we'll be sure to update your information over the phone. Or you can go to the Manage Subscriptions area of your account, click on the subscription you need to edit the payment information of, and click Edit in the Payment method area. You will automatically be emailed a link to a secure page to update your credit card.
When am I charged for my subscription?
If you purchase a prepaid Blanket Club subscription, you will be charged the full amount immediately upon ordering.
For the first monthly payment of Blanket Club you will be charged immediately upon ordering for the first month. After that, you will be charged on the 4th of the month.
For Malabrigo Club you will be charged on the 19th of March, June, September, and December.
What is your return policy for my monthly shipment?
We do accept returns for subscriptions, as long as all the components for that month are present and the yarn is unused. We ask that if you are returning your subscription, to let us know, so that we may cancel future shipments.
How do I cancel my club membership?
The monthly subscription option will be automatically renewed for successive monthly periods and your payment method will automatically be charged until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing us at support@JimmyBeansWool.com or by calling us toll free at (877)529-5648. You can also cancel in the Manage Subscriptions area of your account.
Please remember, we cannot cancel a package already in transit, so you would need to cancel prior to your monthly package being sent out from our warehouse.
Blanket Club
Will extra yarn be provided if I run short?
The blankets are designed to have 15% of each color leftover before finishing. It is important to check your gauge and adjust as needed. If you need more yarn, keep an eye on your inbox for a quarterly coupon for you to order extra yarn if needed.
I didn't subscribe right away, and now I've missed out on a few months! How do I order previous months with my subscription so I can fully participate in the project?
No worries, you have until August 4, 2026 to sign up! Our new clubs are asynchronous, so no matter which month you sign up, you'll receive the first shipment that month and finish your subscription 11 months later.
Do I get a choice of fiber content or color for my subscription?
For our Blanket Club, we do offer an allergy-friendly option for anyone who gets a little sneezy around wool. Beyond that, we aren’t able to take special fiber or color requests for any of our clubs.
When it comes to color, each shipment is thoughtfully curated, yarns are selected to complement one another or to reflect the club’s theme or featured colorway.
Will I get a printed pattern?
After reviewing member and team feedback, we decided to go all-digital this year. By doing this, we’re able to include helpful pattern charts throughout both patterns. The patterns are laid out in a way so they can be easily printed or used from a digital device or app like knitCompanion.
If I start with one craft and want to switch to another, do I need to change my subscription?
Nope! This year, every subscription includes access to both the knit and crochet patterns. You can switch between crafts anytime; you don’t have to choose when you sign up.
Can I pay for my entire Blanket Club subscription at one time?
Yes! Select the prepaid option when adding to your cart.
Malabrigo Club
Will there be additional skeins available for purchase?
Yes! Extra skeins will be available exclusively for Malabrigo Club members. Just make sure you're logged into your Jimmy Beans Wool account to access the member-only yarn listings in Jimmy's Club Hub.
Do I get a choice of fiber content or color for my subscription?
Without giving away the surprise, you can expect most shipments to include wool. Part of the fun is that the colors are a complete mystery! If you’d like a hint of what’s coming, feel free to check out our mood boards—they’re a great way to get a general sense of the color vibe without spoiling the reveal.
Do I get patterns with my subscription?
Patterns are not included with the Malabrigo Club. Each shipment comes with gorgeous yarn and fun extras, but no patterns. If you're looking for inspiration, be sure to join our Facebook and Ravelry groups, they're wonderful places to see what fellow stitchers are making!
If I sign up late, can I still get previous shipments?
You’ll need to join before the end of the quarter to receive that quarter’s shipment. However, if we have extra kits available, past shipments will be offered exclusively to Malabrigo Club members, while supplies last!
What extras can I expect?
Each quarter, you’ll receive a piece of a four-part Maker’s Essentials kit, two curated items from della Q and two premium finishing tools. By the end of the year, you’ll have the complete set!
How much yarn do I get?
Each shipment includes 150–200g of Malabrigo yarn, depending on the month’s featured base.
Can I pay for my entire Malabrigo Club subscription at one time?
Not at this time. We’re currently only able to process Malabrigo Club payments on a quarterly basis.
