Chris's Third Movement Slouch Hat
This hat, designed by Chris who works here at Jimmy Beans, is a fun play on garter stripes and slipped stitches. Here is what Chris has to say about the project:
'In a classical music piano sonata, the third movement is in a musical form known as 'rondo'. Best explained, a musical theme is executed, followed by a second, third, then the first two are repeated (although any music theorist will tell you many countless forms also exist). This knits slouch follows a similar sequence. This slouch utilizes garter stitch and slip stitches working in alternating colors. The midsection changes color every other row to create a variegated effect. Definitely a warm and cozy finished project!'
