It is an affordable and portable (in a poly carrying case with a handle) alternative to blocking boards. One side is smooth with a 1" grid printed across it—the other side has a ridged texture. Mats are over a half-inch thick.

Individual squares measure 5/8" thick x 12" square (36"x36" square when assembled)
