Introducing-- The OWLS!: I am SO excited about this sweater! I've been blogging about it a lot because it is just so cool, and so easy! I began the yoke last night so my Owls only have feet at this point, but I should probably be able finish it tonight. The pattern is a free design by the lovely writer of the blog Needled. After much deliberation, I decided once again on the Lamb's Pride Bulky in the Brown Heather color. This is sort of my go-to yarn that I use for a lot of projects. I love all the color choices and how durable it is. I wanted to try something new for this project but the Brown Heather was really the perfect color and Sandy wisely told me that 'sometimes you have to use what is right for the project.' So I threw all of my qualms aside and went for it. I couldn't be more pleased. This sweater is coming out so beautifully, and fast too! I just started it last Monday night! I can't wait to wear my owls with pride! I have a feeling this is going to be my new favorite. Finished 2/10/09!
