So far, 2022 has been a year of celebrations at Jimmy Beans! This year marks our big 20th birthday and we've been commemorating the last 20 years these last six months with exclusive partnerships, custom colorways, new kits, throwback swag, and in-person events. From what started as a 500 sq. ft. yarn and coffee shop in Truckee, to a 21,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Reno, we couldn't have gotten this far without our loyal customers and the supportive Reno-Tahoe community!
To honor 20 years of business and commemorate the new building our owners, Laura and Doug Zander, purchased at the end of last year, we hosted an official ribbon cutting with the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce on May 26, 2022!
Laura Zander, Founder and CEO of Jimmy Beans Wool, was presented with an official certificate from the Chamber as well as a Certificate of Commendation from Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, and Congressional Recognition from Rep. Mark Amodei.
Team Beans held a reception after the ribbon-cutting ceremony where members of the Chamber of Commerce took tours of our warehouse as well as enjoyed a charcuterie board from Honey Graze Charcuterie!
